Dr. Jason Huang was born and grew up in the Greater Toronto Area. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Biology at Ryerson University before moving to Boston, where he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Huang has worked in diverse clinical settings, rotating through primary care, specialty contact lenses, low vision, binocular vision, and ocular disease clinics. Dr. Huang is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) to practice in both the United States of America and Canada and authorized to prescribe and use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.
He has a special interest in myopia control, utilizing different evidence-based researched treatment methods to slow the progression of myopia in children.
Dr. Huang is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists and the American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control. Dr. Huang speaks English and Cantonese and welcomes patients of all ages.
