Dr. Celine Lai-Tong, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry degree and an Honours undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo. She completed a clinical externship at Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida, working alongside retinal and general ophthalmologists and gaining experience in managing eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal tears, and macular degeneration, as well as refractive laser co-management and low vision care.
Dr. Lai-Tong values clear communication and careful evaluation, takes time to explain findings and treatment options, and is actively involved in the community through ongoing volunteer work with youth eye care and international humanitarian optometry initiatives.
